It is with heavy hearts that we share the solemn news of the passing of our beloved board member, Bob Dougal, on January 13th. He left an indelible mark on our organization, and today, we gather to celebrate his life, legacy, and the profound impact he had on us all.

A Legacy of Dedication
Bob was an active member since 1979 and made an impression with everyone he met. He was a fixture at Blair County Game, Fish and Forestry Association. Bob donated regularly to our youth programs and volunteered for any event that he was available. We could always count on him to help others on the range during sight-in days, help at Blair Women Take Aim and give as many people as he could the opportunity to shoot a historical gun.
Here at Blair Game, Bob was known for his very detailed stories, love of the M1 Garand and his dedication to the organization. He had become a very important part of life here in Riggles Gap. We will miss him.
Final Thoughts
Sarah Merritts, Caretaker, and the entire Blair County Game family extend our deepest condolences to Bob Dougal’s family, friends, and colleagues. Let us come together as a community to support one another and honor the memory of a dear friend who touched our lives profoundly.

Bobby, his father Harry and uncles were very instrumental in assisting with the trout stocking efforts in Blair County. They were always entertaining and at every stocking. I appreciated their assistance and most of all their friendship. Rest in peace Bobby! You will be missed!
