Auxiliary

The Auxiliary meets at the lodge the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more information.

In September of 2012 we reorganized our Auxiliary. Over the past 8 years we have not only grown as an auxiliary, but as a more family oriented sportsman’s club as a whole. The Auxiliary has increased the number of family friendly events which include, membership picnics, the Christmas party, ham pot pie dinner, and the Landowners Sportsmen Banquet. But that’s not all we do. Throughout the year we help with many other events including Blair Women Take Aim, The Ox Roast Festival, special trap shoots and several other events.

One of the most important jobs of the auxiliary is fundraising. This has helped build the new playground set, which was completed in the spring of 2015. Some of the ways we fundraise are holding special dinners and selling club merchandise in the lodge such as t-shirts, hats, hoodies and more.

The Auxiliary is also involved with maintaining the flower beds. A yearly budget has been established for planting flowers throughout the property. All green thumbs welcome.

The Auxiliary is open to anyone who wants to e involved with planning our family friendly events. If you are not able to be at a meeting we are on Facebook at www.facebook.com/blairgame.aux where you will see updates and future projects.
