We have just become aware of a deer that was shot inside one of our designated Range Danger Zones.
If you are hunting on Blair County Game, Fish & Forestry Association property, it is your responsibility to know the location of all ranges and their clearly marked danger zones. Failure to do so can result in shooting toward an active range, placing yourself and others downrange and in serious danger.
Range danger zones are established for everyone’s safety. Please take the time to review posted signage and maps before hunting on our property.
Safety is not optional. Let’s work together to ensure a safe environment for all members and guests.
Also it is unsportsmanlike to shoot an animal and not attempt to track the animal!
