This week we had a delivery of several hundred trees that need to be planted this weekend. Along with other projects we will need help planting trees after noon on Saturday April 30th and all day Sunday. Any help is appreciated. Every tree needs to be in the ground this weekend so we need all the help we can get.
Where are the trees being planted?
We have a fenced in 28 acre area that will hold most of the trees. This should allow them time to grow for the next 5 years without being eaten by deer. Species include American Chestnut, Black Cherry, Elderberry, Black Locust and Basswood.
Help us in our conservation efforts. Get out and volunteer with other members and get these trees panted.
